finally. come to blog about my VERY FIRST Trip with friend, RUTHU PANG!!! O.. hmm actually not really first trip with friends.. maybe 3rd? 1st one was Choir Exchange Programme.. flew to Perth with 50 other human-beings, included 2 teachers-in-charge & our conductress.. so it's not quite like what in my mind about "trip with friends" coz there were extra adults.... then the 2nd one was a trip to Genting with Oi, Sharon & amanda after FYP. that can be called a trip with friends but.. i always think that AEROPLANES should be involved in a proper "trip with friends". that's why i consider this Bang Kok Trip with Ah Pang is my 1st overseas trip with friend!! ok we went there during our 1 week Chinese New Year holiday back to Feburary this year, when we were working together in the same company. actually we kept planning trips with the rest of our friends but i was enough of the rest's never-ended-consideration and forever-unconfirmed-schedule and so on. so i just asked Ruthu if we should go together, just the 2 of us. and she said she was ok with it. so there we went to book the free & easy package. we got some struggles about the date and days to fly over there and hotels. but all these were settled when we fianlly couldnt stand the frustration, we were ok with anything at the end. that's how we could successfully go on a trip together. happy.

then i browsed the Duty Free catalogue and i saw this Junior Pilot Pin.. as people who know me well.. i LOVE pilots VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY much. more than firemen & superman!!!!!!! din think much and purchased this pin.. oh i love it!! love things about PILOTS & AEROPLANES. muacks muacks muacks muacks muacks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyway, u can see how my friend demo on "creative silly way to wear the high class repectful pilot pin".

 
very soon we reached the BKK airport and met the tour guide there yet we waited for other idiotic free & easy tourists for SUCH A LONG TIME! people told u to wait at gate 7 then u should wait at gate 7 right?! i have no idea where on earth they went lor. when the tour guide finally found them, it had been an hour or more since we waited at gate 7. we were quite tired by that time and we were driven to our hotels in the same van. well.. we all stayed at different hotels lor.. and ruth & i were the second last to be dropped.. we were so so tired when we reached our beloved Arnoma Hotel. really glad that we chose Arnoma Hotel man. it's a 4 stars. compare to the rest.. their hotels were really looking old and dirty hehehe.. when the 2 girls who were dropped last saw we dropped at Arnoma, their jaws also dropped to their laps.. they said "wa..... the 2 of them are staying here man.." in a envious tone. we were the youngest in the "group" and we stayed at the highest class hotel among the group. haiz.. just add $70 bucks more la.. that's what we did coz the hotel which we supposed to stay in was fully booked.. luckily it's fully booked. the van went round and round and we reached Arnoma 1.5 to 2 hours later then we still have to wait at the lobby to let them clean and pack our room after we checked in. finally we put our luggage in the room and ran out to shop and have early dinner. SOOOO hungry.

 
 
we ate at this store Yum Sapp, which is something like Thai Express. we ordered our own main dish and drink, and share Tom Yam Soup. it's very nice.. i cant really eat too spicy food and ah pang can eat VERY spicy food. so ah pang told the waitress that we only wanted a bit spicy. that's why i could enjoy the Thai Tom Yam Soup too.. wooooo nice! swallowing saliver at this very moment.. their crispy pineapple or mango is very nice too!! after early dinner, we didn't shop coz have to go watch Ah Gua Show. after the 1 hour Ah Gua Show, those Ah Guas (i am sorry to call them ah gua here but i dunno the correct polite name for them) went down to the lobby and started to take pictures with ppl who paid them. Ruthu was intended to take pictures with a very pretty ah gua but too crowded and we gave up. then, we dropped at Song Lum to shop. it closes at 12am and we were quite excited!!! i bought 2 t-shirts at a "you-were-cheated" price which made me so down and a blouse & skirt at Glamour, which is a Thai local brand.. small shop but nice designs. the designer plus owner looks after the shop. he is a very gentle & cute guy. Thailand guys talk very gentle generally. Ruthu bought so many more things than me.

Day 2 we went to shop on our own and my period came too. what the hell.. it should not be such soon. luckily i bought pad. normally it came on the dot but it was trying to be funny with me, came during my trip. damn. so during the 4 days trip, ruth let me bathe first every night. and i really have to thank her for this. THANK YOU RUTHU!!! MUACKS!!! coz as MOST of the girls know -well,if not all- how uncomfortable it is sometimes when bleeding continuously. hAHAHAHA!! ok should stop being disgusting. THANKS AGAIN RUTHU PANG!!!!!! oh.. i can only show Ruthu's pics below coz i looked too horrible.. my eyes were red once i wore contact lens so i wore spec. then i looked so tired too bcoz of my period. i was able to go out and shop for whole day just because I ALREADY PAID FOR THE TRIP and there were ONLY 4 DAYS that I COULD WASTE NO TIME man!!!!!! haiz.

    


after lunch or dinner at Auntie Anne, we went to eat The Cream & Fudge Factory. one of Ruthu's fav. but i felt really unwell. could only taste a bit of my green apple ice cream and gave up the rest (so i ate every single drop during my Phuket Trip and ate 2 big cups somemore. hhehehehee).

OH! no wonder i felt so uncomfortable.. i was not only having period. but sore throat and headache too. had to eat panadol before sleep. i hate panadol. my stuffs seemed more than Ruthu's. but indeed almost half of them i was buying for friends and family. should listen to my mum man!! she asked me just to buy what i like for myself. hahahhaa.. actually i am always happy whenever buying things to the others.

Day 3 we took cab to a very near shopping centre after breakfast. it's so near that we were so surprised we reached such soon after hopped onto the cab for like 5 mins. can walk there lor man HAHAHAHHA. the driver asked us if we wanna go other shopping centres then we insisted we only wanna go to the one we said. so dangerous. there we reached and we passed by a wholesale place and just went in. we bought some clothes and shoes and stuff happily and took cab to this designer place (which Nancy Ah Nan recommended.. dont listen to her man, there are nothing to see except arty farty books..) and then walked a looooonnnnggg way to PlayGround. it was like a much emptier I.T. but got very interesting stationary & furniture. ruth bought a cute sling bag there.

 
  
we took cab back to Arnoma wanting to walk to the Central to shop. and walao.. the cab driver listened wrongly or i am now thinking it's too jam on the road so he just anyhow dropped us at one hotel.. omg.. and got this "A bucnh of mini flies on head" incident which scared ruth & i to death can!! ruth took out her powerful perfume and spray on our heads.. hAHAHAHAHAHHAHA i sitll remember how funny it was. so damn funny that we laught and kept walking around trying to escape the flies at the hotel's main entrance for so long until the next willing-to-drive-us-back-to-Arnoma-area-cab.

 
 
so lucky to crash with the Thailand Fashion Week at BKK. their Fashion Week is so much grander than Singapore one lor.. and got these 2 very cute modern clowns. my papamama & big sis know that i am afraid of clowns after my very first Thailand Ah Gua Show when i was a year 2 in Kindergarten. but these 2 are modern and cute. i was just taking picture of them and they came around and took pic with us :)

went to this newly open Food Loft to have dinner. it's like Mache but it is MUCH higher class.. every tourist can really easily become rich & high class people in Thailand. waiters dont only help u order what u want to drink or eat, they even help u wait for the food and bring it back to your table. at first we still thought we had to give them tips with such good service.. but NO!! DONT NEED TO at all. but ofcoz if u wanna, no one is going to stop u. and on this last night of BKK trip, we ordered a Tom Yam Soup to share again. it's too high class there.. we could only ordered Seafood Tom Yam Soup.. got mini lobster inside u know.... can u imagine or not?! the ingredients were so fresh and the soup was not only sour & spicy.. but with a taste of seafood sweetness inside too.. and when i suck the mini lobster head.. kaoz.. the creamy "gao (chinese)" or "goh (cantonese)" inside the lobster head made me go to heaven for a few seconds.. i believe that's the very important factor that made the soup have a creamy milky taste too.. the flesh of its body was so fresh & bouncy.... OMG..... drooling once again.. thanks ruth who loves Tom Yam Soup so much. i swear if my companions dont really need to drink Tom Yam Soup in Thailand, i wont order any. I MISS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

then last day.. we checked out quite early.. when waiting for the van to come, we decided to have breakfast before going to airport since the driver had not yet come. and when we were waiting outside the restaurant with our luggage, the driver came in and then we just left and got onto the van. walao.. just a few more steps then i could eat my breakfast le.. and then after this trip with Ah Gua Show, i became an Ah Gua too as my sore throat gave me an Ah Gua voice. hahhahahaa.. thanks Ruth for going to BKK with me! there were actually times that i woke up in the middle of the night and being afraid of sleeping at an unfamiliar place, but i saw Ruth who slept so peacefully made me fall asleep again. yeah~ looking forward to another TRIP WITH FRIENDS (with AEROPLANES)!!!!!

Hamster & i are planning to go Korea or Japan next summer. Anyone interested?

on 18th this month, oima, sharon, sim wii & i went to Dougby Ghaut (it seems that i can never spell it correct) Express, to have birthday dinner with Amanda @ pepper lunch, which is 1 of amanda's favorite restaurants. sharon, oima & i ordered the same meal.. which was a combo set with Cut Steak & Hamburger. din know that when finished cooking the steak, we gotta put them on the veget.. so when we ate it.. it's stiff. as for amanda's 21st birthday present, the 3 of us gave her a huge hello kitty clock (finally.. all the way from HK and i still remember the troublesome-ness of bringing it back to singapore) and a pink under wear, while sim wii gave her a box of hand picked chocolate. as we know we should not give clocks or shoes as gifts to anyone in case of bad luck they'll receive, we asked amanda to give us 1 buck to break the bad luck but she refused to obey it. hmm.. so, lets share the pics here.

on 28th, one day before ah yu's actual birthday, we went to have dinner & movie with her. ah li posted post cards to us and reminded us to remember ah yu's birthday and go out with her. ah li is very bias. but it's ok. so we din know where to celebrate and suddenly Ruthu sms me and suggested why not we go Cjimes? then there we went and it is absolutely a very nice place to have gatherings. we browsed around without Ruthu, who was having OT, but had no idea which restaurant to go. so i sms Ruthu and asked if she could recommand any. then she said she din know also. she suggested it coz wanna give it a try. then after we "walao~~~~" for a while, we took some pics at that nice place since we were already there. and when master & i helped oima & ah yu take pics, there was a buch of ang mohs attempting to pass us but then realised we were taking pictures. so they apologized and at the end one-third of them crowded to oima & ah yu to take pics together. oima was blocked in the pic anyway and the pic is very blur. then we went back to Raffles City and settled at the Crepe restaurant at Raffles City basement, the one besides fountain. then there we ordered and chatted and ate. at the middle, Ruthu finally reached!! then after dinner, we presented Ah Yu the birthday girl her little cake. she was like a moron.. she blew the candle without everyone knew and without making any wish.... then she felt & looked so regret that she din say a word after we asked her why din she make a wish.. and then there is a guy's picture in swee yee's camera.. that k po yu wanna see and just anyhow cut the cake in a wild way without sincere and again, without anyone knew, just to rush to see the pic.. tsk so irritating right? then the cake tasted salty and bitter too. it is not fresh at all. the cake made us angry. we left and sharon reached!!!!! then off we went to take MRT to Cathy building to watch movie without Oima, who doesnt wanna catch a show. we decided to watch The Italian finally, showing at 11.20pm. when we queued, we met Melissa who was going to watch Balls of Fury with her friends. i miss ADM again.. then Ruthu used her credit card to buy tickets and we had discount! yeah so happy!! from $9 each to $7.90 only. when the cashier told us that we could not bring food & drinks in to that special theater, Ruthu was saying ok & thank you, and sharon, just next to ruthu, told us that the pop corn at Cathay is super nice that we MUST TRY IT, and Ruth agreed "EVERY SINGLE POP CORN IS CRISPY ONE!!!!!!" with excitment. and the rest of us din really hear what the cashier said. so there we went up and they started to queue up and buy pop corn combo.. after the 1st combo, when ah yu was buying the 2nd one, the person told her if we were going to that special theatre (sorry that i forgot what its name is), we cant bring food & drink. but by then, ruth, sharon & i were already waiting inside after the person tear out tickets and said something like "bla bla blabla..... food & drink". the whole situation was so complicated and we were so blur that we din give any response and still thought that what we did was normal. i can just say that it was so hilarious. we still eat the pop corn in theatre. it was really crispy coz after the movie we all told one another that we were very noisy when eating the pop corn. that sharon still shook the drink during movie to make noise!! u know those ice-cubes-hit-one-another-and-the-cup-sound? tsk!! anyway. The Italian has not shown officially. think the one we watched was preview. it was really a nice show. i like the little boy in the show very much. he is so cute

today i met up with oima & sharon coz sharon said wanna catch up with us. ruthu was invited too but her aussy friend came and she gotta accompany her. she told me she was playing bowling with her friend. i suddenly felt the fun about bowling and suggested the next ADM outing we shall have bowling and flying kite and then cycling and steam boat for one whole day's activities!!! ok.. i asked sharon to meet me at 3pm so that we could shop but i woke up at 2pm.. so i sms her to meet at 3.30pm then 4pm then 4.45pm then 5pm and finally i reached at 6.10pm coz i woke up at 4.30pm. was really tired after working yesterday from 10.30am to 11pm. we went to have dinner at Pepper Lunch, Takashimaya. u must be wondering why we went again since we claimed that the beef was stiff. coz i went to Pepper Lunch with Crystal Big Sis one day and she taught me to put the steak on the top of veget quick once the steak was almost done. and IT WAS LIKE HEAVEN when i ate them... omg.. so i told oima we must go to Pepper Lunch again before the promotion was over. and today was the last day of promotion. oima ordered Shimofuri Pepper Steak Set, which was like heaven to me, i ordered Tokusen Rib Eye Steak Set and sharon ordered that normal tiny Beef Prpper Rice Set.. tsk!! should follow us ma. the ones we ordered are more expensive but got more discount so should try them. and.. it tasted just so nice. omg.. i am looking at the coupons and swallowing my saliver.. omg.. why am i so fatty-like.. :(...  <-- drooling unhappy face..

look at oima's messy plate and my beautiful neat plate!! hahaha!! i was once criticized messy too by crystal and this time was my turn to criticize oima. this kind of meal really needs practices. and sharon said i have to take a picture with my plate coz the O shape of rice represented Oima and the S sauce on rice represented Sharon, so i have to be inside the picture and the 3 of us would be together in the pic hahaa!! after dinner, we went to have Hokkaido ice cream - Passion Fruit & Black Sesame. and then we walked to Centre Point, bought what we need and like :) i bought 2 dresses & 1 yellow top from BYSI   i had a happy sunday. it's always happy to be with the 2 of them

in the next entry i will blog about Ruthu & my BKK trip early on Feburary this year.. I MUST blog about it coz i always forget. and about the farewell dinner for Marie and the day she left to UK.

heheee.. finally i wanna update my blog here. i have a lot to show u. firstly, it's my lovely 5days4nights Phuket trip with papamama~ what a nice holiday at Patong Beach. we stayed at The Blue Marine Resort & Spa. it's not a hotel. it's a RESORT. my first time to live in a resort overseas.... and i swore i would never go back to this resort again but after a day or 2 there, especially now, i finally think that THAT IS THEN THE WAY FOR A RELAXING BEACHY HOLIDAY. coz we went to Patong Beach.. which papa said it's like those village or islands in HK. so i think to live in a resort is better than staying in those luxury hotels there. and we had a room for 3 with sea view. IF WE KNEW WE HAD A ROOM WITH A SPA BED then we wouldn't asked for a room for 3 la! i could just sleep on the Spa bed. but again, if we just asked for a room for 2 we might not get the Spa bed room which is bigger than the rest. Blue Marine Resort was not destroyed during Tsunami coz it was a bit higher up on the hill than the rest which are closer to the sea. on the day i left singapore, oima came to have tea time with me at the airport before my flight and gave me a kingkong soft toy.

before this trip, big sis's secondary school friend, Amy, came to Singapore to have a short holiday from HK. she stayed with us and out of 6 days, we planned 3 days to go to the zoo, bird park, night safari etc. so close to animals. i like it. and ofcoz, we brought her to taste the singapore local food which she loved them so much that she hoped she could eat them everyday in HK. and i recommended her to drink BungDong and she loved it very much too! she said she had fun in singapore and we surely enjoyed her accompany too! ....I LOVE HORNBILL & ELEPHANT!!!!!!!!

Ok.. i finally tried to pack my desk one day and i found 3 pairs of glasses which were my 1st pair 2nd pair and 3rd pair of my life. so funny! they are my primary 2 (when i was 7 or 8 years old) to primary 6 glasses, secondary 1 to 3 glasses (in HK) and secondary 2 to 4 glasses (in Singapore) respectively from left to right below.. have to take a pic without glasses to get the mental balance in my heart.

then, my first time to taste Singapore's TIGER BEER. as usual, i drank a few mouthful of beer and i felt so hot and giddy. then i was banned to drink it. my head was so heavy. and my face was totally red. so lousy. anyway.. i really cant differenciate good beer and bad beer. when i felt all beer are the same, Mark's HK friend said the Tiger Beer tasted nice. i dont anyhow drink beer. just feel like drinking the day when mama bought roasted goose.

oima, ruthu, hamster, ana & ma li went to bird park with me. so happy when we watched those shows in bird park.. so BIG the dunno-what-name-eagle.. it made ruthu break down hahaHAHAhhahahHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we arrived at Jurong around 12pm and waited for Oima who was late. then took bus to Bird Park. before entering, we went to BONGO BURGERS which is outside bird park to have lunch coz everyone was hungry. and you know you cant make ur hamster hungry coz she will scream!! hahaa!!

 
 
the classic "Master & Food" pictures. i REALLY love my Mutton Burger!!! it was so yummy! but i have to say something here. i went to night safari last month right. and i strongly recommended the mutton burger to my family. and mami ordered it. i asked her if it's nice and i was expecting a nice answer too. yet she said so so. i didn't believe and thought mami was bit too fussy about food. then i tried and "WALAO IT SUCKS!!" the mutton patty was over-grilled. it's TOTALLY DARK that i only see a black thing when i moved away the crown of burger. it was over-grilled so it was hard like hell. i could throw it to a wall and it wont break to pieces i bet!! and since it's hard means it's not juicy at all!! it's soooo dry that i thought i was chewing some paper in my mouth. and u can see the one i had at bird park.. those creamy colour mayo mix dunno what sauce was dripping out of my burger!! it's so yummy! BUT the one we had at night safari.. i really dunno what happened to it. the sauce had not gone missing but it was like so stingy-ly put on the patty.. it's like u know.. one small flick of butter on a big slice of bread! and even after the butter melt, your bread is still 70% plain. that was really a bad experience and i really regretted to recommend the restaurant to my family and mark's friend. my papa doesn't like his beef patty burger too. and for Mark & his friend, i dared not ask.

  
 
ok so after the meal, they forced me to open their gifts before going into bird park. oima was all the way cheating me that she bought me 2 real birds since we met at Jurong interchange that day. i was really afraid of real birds, no matter big or small. so i always wanna peep into her paper bag to confirm that i can accept my "new pets" but she kept showing to others but not letting me to peep. so sickening. then u can see from the pic. she started to force me to open the red box, which was supposed to contain the gang's (ruthu, hamster, ah yu, ana, sharon, amanda, jobina & marie) presents, to see the "2 little birds" she bought for me. then when i wanna open it with my head lean back she stopped me from opening the box and requested my face should faced the box (like smelling the box position) and the opening of box lid direction should face me but not her. by that time, the noise we created already made all the "audience" next to or behind our table very nervous waiting for me to open it. i din know it until i saw the photos. the ang moh was looking at us. and the uncle behind me even stood up and walked to my back to see what was inside the box that make me so scared.  it's 3 or 4 packs of tissue paper at the end.... i really wanna curse oima (hahahhaha just joking). i felt so cheated and then that uncle went back to his own seat as u can see from the pics. he was so curious that i would use "nosy" to describe him.. coz who on earth will come and look at stranger's stuffs?! he is the 1st one i have ever known. anyway it's quite humourous for oima to do that....

we went into the bird park at 2+pm which was VERY late and we actually missed a lot of shows as i went almost all at my 2nd visit. but i have to say that the 2 big shows were REALLY NICE. think because that was my 1st time to go to bird park. and i can never forget about the EXTREMELY HUGE eagle (the one made ruth break down).. which when it opened its wings, it covered the 6 of us under his wings. then i fell in love with him. and i was still so looking forward to see him before the show started at my 2nd visit. i think he becomes my friend already. i wont show the pics here so u can go in and feel the fun urself. i really love places where there are animals. a *BIG THANK YOU to the 5 of u accompanied me to bird park espscially ruthu & marie, who will never go out-door activities!!

 
it's really rushy.. we booked 8 movie tickets to watch <<Pirates of Caribbean>> at 7.10pm at Cathay Building. but as we left bird park late at 6pm since we went in late, we were quite worried that our tickets will be canceled.. i think it's quite complicated so i shall not explain here. we were just informed to collect the tix one hour before the show started. anyway of anyway, we managed to catch the show and take pictures of the "Saturday Night Movies NOW ON" light box with sharon jobinbin & nina who joined us for movie.. hahahaa!! so nice the light box.. oima was out of the pic coz she rushed home after movie to see her caleb. *thanks Jobinbin for the last pic above!!

back home and checked email. even WLNY wished me happy b'day as i already deleted the account ages ago. so kind of them.. oh! maybe it's because i was being kind in the first place as it asked me the reason to withdraw my account. i personally just feel that i dont wanna be in it anymore, but i do really think that it's a good web and innovative one coz it connects all ur neighbours and u together in a site and u will know what kind of perverts there are so u can be alert of them (HAHAHHAHAAA!!!). so i left a comment to the team instead of "reasons of quitting".. i said something like.. "keep up the good work". heh! but thanks anyway WLNY.

sakae dinner with my beloved jess, suhui & sam. and we took neoprint and then had dessert at McD. we bought a pair of shrek ears too. and i forced sam to wear them then he gave me that look. hey! it's my birthday u know.
